Probantum & Lawbow
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 July 2026
Who we are
Probantum and Lawbow are operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], registered in England and Wales at [REGISTERED ADDRESS] ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect
- Account data — your name, email address, password (stored hashed), and firm or account name.
- Case material you choose to give us — the story you tell our intake wizard, documents you upload, and details about your dispute (which may include names, dates, amounts, and other personal data about you and third parties).
- Contact details — your email and, if you give it, your mobile number.
- Technical data — a hashed IP address and browser user-agent for rate limiting and abuse prevention, and operational logs of system activity.
How we use it
- To provide the service: analysing the documents and case details you give us and producing reports and drafts for you.
- To operate your account, respond to you, and tell you about the service you asked for.
- To keep the service secure (rate limiting, abuse detection, audit logs).
Our lawful bases are performance of a contract (providing the service you signed up for), legitimate interests (security and service operation), and consent where we ask for it.
AI processing
Analysis is performed with the assistance of large-language-model providers acting as our processors. Case content is sent to these providers only to perform the analysis you request. Where the provider supports it we use zero-data-retention modes, and we do not permit providers to train on your content. AI output is assistance, not legal advice.
Where your data lives and how long we keep it
Your data is stored with our hosting and database providers in the UK/EEA where available. Incomplete intake-wizard entries expire and are deleted automatically. Account and case data are kept while your account is active and deleted on verified request. Operational logs are retained for a limited period for security.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict processing, and ask for portability. Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk). [ICO REGISTRATION NUMBER].
Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers needed to run the platform (hosting, database, storage, AI providers, email/SMS delivery), each under contract as our processor, or where the law requires it.
